If I think about the amount of time that I, an individual careers adviser, have spent over the years trying to sort out cases where students have forgotten their logins, I can only imagine how frustratingly time consuming it is for an organisation like UCAS to be dealing with this so frequently. No wonder it was number two on their list of key messages.
But the problem isn’t just one of time. Complications are caused when students decide to open second accounts rather than find out how to access their original one. The duplication leads to confusion, missing information and incomplete applications. All of which can be avoided if students just make sure they keep safe all their login information when they first register.
